Peter Facinelli has established himself as one of Hollywood’s most sought-after actors with distinctive and impressive performances. He has formed his own production company, A7SLE Films, and is currently working on a variety of projects which allows him the opportunity to expand his creative talents as a writer, producer, director and actor.

 

Peter currently can be seen in the new CBS series “SuperGirl”, airing Monday night, Oct 26, at 8:30/7:30c. He portrays green tech billionaire Maxwell Lord in a recurring role.

 

Most recently, Peter had a starring role in “American Odyssey” in which he played Peter Decker, a lawyer caught in a web of deception.

 

Peter starred as Doctor Fitch Cooper, opposite Edie Falco, in Showtime’s critically acclaimed comedy series “Nurse Jackie” for 7 seasons.

 

Peter can also be seen in the film “Walter” which was released in March 2015 to select theaters and on DVD/Blu-Ray . Also starring in the movie are Andrew J. West and William Macy.

 

The supernatural thriller “The Damned” in which Peter has the lead role was released in the fall of 2014. The story of an American (Facinelli), widowed from his Colombia-born wife, who flies to Bogota with his new fiancée (Myles) to retrieve his rebellious teenage daughter Jill (Ramos). After a car accident leaves them stranded in a rundown isolated inn, they discover the old innkeeper has locked a young girl in the basement and their decision to set her free has unintended consequences.

 

Peter’s comic book, “Protocol: Orphans” was published in 4 parts to rave reviews. It was also released as a graphic novel in December 2014. Fox network is currently in working on a series adaptation of the novel. Peter also expanded his writing into other genres with a YA novel, “After The Red Rain” which was released in August 2015. Publisher’s Weekly described the storyline as “set in a future world of environmental collapse and mass poverty, where a mysterious boy named Rose discovers he possesses inhuman powers that can irrevocably change the lives of everyone on the planet.”

 

Peter also had a recurring role in Season 5 of Glee! On the series, Peter played Rupert Campion who is the director of the Broadway show “Funny Girl”. Peter starred as Dr. Carlisle Cullen, the altruistic patriarch of the Cullen coven, in the blockbuster feature films, The Twilight Saga: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and Breaking Dawn – Part 2 for Summit Entertainment. The studio’s Twilight film franchise is based on Stephanie Meyer’s #1 New York Times bestselling series.

 

Peter also can be seen in the movie “Loosies” which he wrote and stars in. Peter plays a young pickpocket in the New York subways, living a fast and free lifestyle when is confronted by a woman with whom he had a one night affair. She informs him that she is pregnant with his child. He must now choose between continuing the lifestyle he leads or take responsibility for his actions.

 

One of Peter’s most celebrated roles was as Donovan “Van” Ray in the 2002-2003 Fox tv series Fastlane. Along with Bill Bellamy who played Deaqon Hayes, they portrayed two mismatched cops teamed together by shady vixen police lieutenant, Wilhelmina “Billie” Chambers, in a secretive undercover division of the Los Angeles Police Department. Operating with the motto “Everything we seize, we keep. Everything we keep, we use,” their base of operations is the “Candy Store”—a warehouse containing a fortune in confiscated cars, clothes, weapons and everything else needed to blend into the seedy criminal underworld of Los Angeles. In 2007, Peter starred in the dark thriller, ARC, as Paris Pritchert, a former police officer turned drug dealer and addict who embarks on a quest to find a missing child in the hope of redeeming his eroding character.

 

Peter starred opposite Matthew Broderick and Brittany Snow in the dramedy, Finding Amanda, which premiered at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival. His portrayal in The Big Kahuna as a Bob Walker, a devout Baptist whose strong religious beliefs bring him into sharp conflict with his older and more cynical colleagues, earned him rave reviews. Also starring Kevin Spacey and Danny De Vito, the film premiered at the 1999 Sundance Film Festival and was also accepted at the Toronto Film Festival that year. His additional feature film credits include The Scorpion King opposite Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Penny Marshall’s Riding in Cars with Boys opposite Drew Barrymore, a starring role in Walter Hills’ sci-fi thriller Supernova with James Spader and Angela Bassett, Can’t Hardly Wait opposite Jennifer Love Hewitt, Dancer, Texas Pop. 81 with Breckin Meyer, and Foxfire opposite Angelina Jolie.

 

Peter also had a recurring role on “Damages”, FX’s award winning legal thriller starring Glenn Close. His additional television credits included a recurring role as a promising art student and love interest for Lauren Ambrose’s character in the award winning HBO Series “Six Feet Under.” Facinelli shared the cast’s 2005 nomination for the SAG Award for Best Ensemble in a Drama.
